Not to be confused with the Nashville Predators or the NPAHA, The Nashville Jr. Predators, known as Jr. Preds , JP, or NJP are their own separate organization. The Nashville Jr. Predators license the name and logo from the professional team. Jr. Preds are the only program in Nashville allowed to offer Tier I Travel as a development path. Until 2025, the Jr. Preds were the only organization in our region awarded AAA approval by USA Hockey, (Southeast Blades - Atlanta being the other). USA Hockey tightly controls AAA approval per region. New additions are unlikely in the near future. In 2025 the Jr Preds integrated the Tier II travel teams from the NPAHA (Preds Select) into their program. The Jr. Preds compete in the Southern Youth Travel Hockey League (SYTHL), the SESCL, or as in independent. The Nashville Jr. Predators are one of the founding members of the Southeastern Showcase League (SESCL).
